Usha Sobhraj is the daughter of Charles Sobhraj, a notorious French serial killer who was apprehended by Nepal Police in 2003 and sentenced to life in prison for murdering an American national in Nepal in 1975.

Usha Sobhraj now Usha Sutliff has severed ties with her father and devoted her life to fighting crime.

She has been a member of the Los Angeles Police Department Reserve Program since 2007, and she is a former professional print journalist who graduated from Boston University.

Usha is now married to Fire Captain Jason Sutliff of San Marino, California, on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

Usha Sutliff, who is in her fifties, now works for the US government in a ‘classified’ position specialising in counter-terrorism and homeland security.

Usha was adopted by stone mason Leon Harris when he married her mother, Paris-based Chantal Compagnon, in 1975, and he claims his daughter has had no contact with Charlse Sobhraj since she was a baby.
