Catelynn Lowell Sends Heartfelt Message To Teen Mom OG Costars Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood Ahead

It has been ten years since Catelynn Lowell joined Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood for what become an MTV hit, Teen Mom OG.

Tonight, the reality TV show will premiere its tenth season, wow! Ahead of the significant milestone, Lowell decided to send a loving and heartfelt message to the ladies who have been by her side on this crazy journey.

The ladies are more than just costars, Lowell, Bookout, and Portwood have been good friends over the years.

“Girls! Can you believe that it’s ten years going on eleven?!? Our new season is tomorrow night on @MTV, and I’m so blessed that this series brought you two into my life. Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood I love you both so much!” expressed 27-year-old Lowell via Twitter.

Her sentiment did not go unnoticed, and her Teen Mom OG friends quickly reciprocated it.

“Couldn’t have said it better myself. Love you so much back!!” Tweeted Maci McKinney, aka Bookout.

Although in the reality TV world she will always be Bookout, Maci married Taylor McKinney in 2016 and uses her married name for all of her social media accounts.

“Absolutely sweetheart!! I love you both so much!!” commented Portwood, almost immediately after her friends send their messages.

Catelynn Lowell, now Baltierra since she married long-time love Tyler Baltierra in 2015, Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout are the only three original cast members on the hit MTV reality TV show. Their decade in the spotlight has not always been easy for the ladies, which they all recently got candid about with US Weekly.

“I think we’d be lying if we all said that, at least once or if not more, you felt like, ‘Damn, you know, I could leave,'” Lowell expressed to the magazine.

Portwood agreed but also reiterated the show is a job for all three of them.

“It’s a lot of pressure sometimes, but… this is our job. We are good at it, and we love doing it,” Portwood expressed as the three friends discussed why they stick with the hit show.

Over the years Portwood, Bookout, and Lowell have seen several cast members come and go, including original costar Farrah Abraham. Bristol Palin joined the show for one season following Abraham’s exit but was ultimately not a good fit.

They have spent the last ten years as the stars of Teen Mom OG, and as of now Portwood, Lowell, and Bookout are not going anywhere. The 2-hour Season 10 premiere is tonight on MTV at 9 PM EST.
