Britney Spears Father Breaks His Silence Amid Conservatorship Battle Claims They Havent T

Jamie Spears claims that he misses his daughter a lot! After all, according to him, he and Britney Spears have not been on speaking terms ever since she filed the request to get him removed from her conservatorship!

This is what Britney’s father claimed during a new interview for CNN.

This also marks the very first time that the man spoke out about this since his daughter filed a request to remove Jamie as her conservator.

During the interview, he claimed that he and Britney were on ‘good terms’ until August of this year when the pop star’s lawyer filed the documents that would, if approved, go on to stop the man’s involvement in his daughter’s conservatorship.

That would mean that he and Britney have not spoken to each other once in the last four months!

Jamie told CNN that ‘I love my daughter and I miss her very much. When a family member needs some special care and protection, families need to step up, as I’ve done for the last 12 plus years, to safeguard, to protect and to continue to love Britney unconditionally. I have and I will continue to provide unwavering love and protection against those with self serving interests and who seek to harm her or my family.’

Reports about Jamie have only escalated since Britney’s attorney mentioned in the filing that the singer is scared of her dad.

It’s no secret that Jamie has been managing his daughter’s massive estate ever since her public mental breakdown in 2008.

At the time, the court decided that she needed a conservatorship but, as years went by and she seemed to get a lot better, suspicions that Jamie Spears is abusing his power over her and is being excessively controlling started spreading more and more!
